Welcome to CaReMe-O 2024
Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to extend an invitation to you for the inaugural edition of the Cardiovascular, Renal, Metabolic, and Obesity Conference (CaReMe-O 2024), scheduled for 15-16 March 2024 in Barcelona, Spain, and accessible online.
This conference addresses a critical and escalating health challenge: the convergence of obesity, diabetes, renal, and cardiovascular diseases. In this complex healthcare landscape, the primary care physician’s role is more crucial than ever. As frontline healthcare providers, PCPs are integral in managing these interrelated conditions. Our conference is committed to reinforcing this central role, highlighting the need for comprehensive engagement from PCPs in all aspects of patient care.
The CaReMe-O 2024 aims to further this mission by assembling primary care physicians and a multidisciplinary panel of experts. This gathering is designed to foster a comprehensive understanding of the complex interrelationships among these health conditions and to explore effective strategies for the engagement, training, and integration of primary care physicians in addressing these clinical challenges.
Our program includes state-of-the-art lectures by leading medical professionals. Engaging discussion groups with all delegates will strive to reach consensus on optimal treatment strategies, implementation of guidelines, and development of innovative, team-based approaches. These strategies will be under the guidance of primary care physicians, targeting patients with obesity, cardio-renal-metabolic diseases, with the ultimate goal of transforming care quality and patient outcomes.
Organized in collaboration with the Spanish Society of General and Family Doctors (SEMG), CaReMe-O 2024 is principally aimed at primary care physicians. However, if you are an endocrinologist, nephrologist, or cardiologist, this conference offers a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue, influence better care processes, and form collaborations with field pioneers. Your participation will be instrumental in strengthening the role of PCPs and enhancing patient care in the cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic health community.
We eagerly anticipate welcoming you to CaReMe-O 2024 in Barcelona!
